AIMEN Technology Centre

AIMEN Technology Centre is a non-profit private association. It has a strong background of research and innovation covering industrial key areas such as Smart Manufacturing, advanced Manufacturing Processes and High Performance Materials. As node of the Didactic Factories Network transfer to the shipbuilding and metalworking companies, novel and advanced I4.0 technologies –i.e. Augmented Reality (AR) for construction supervision, collaborative mobile manipulators and high-payload robots and platforms—. AIMEN final goal is to develop a new manufacturing methodology capable of ensuring the manufacturability, reliability, flexibility and quality of a target metal component from initial product design.

AIMEN Testing Laboratories covers the following proficiencies: Mechanical testing, microstructural characterization, Corrosion, Chemical-physical testing, Non-destructive testing (Radigraphic, Ultrasonic, LP, MP,…), Metrology and Environmental analysis.
