Bremer Institut für Produktion und Logistik GmbH is a private non-profit research institute developing technical and organizational solutions for problems from various areas of production, product development, logistics and other related disciplines. This particularly includes the research, development and application of Industry 4.0 technologies, innovative ICT, the automation of logistic processes and the collaboration of enterprises during the whole product lifecycle. Under the umbrella of PENELOPE, BIBA aims to enhance and increase the technological maturity of the technologies and methods it develops. BIBA’s primary motivation is to reinforce its follow-up activities, including technology transfer, industry outreach, and networks for applied research.
