EUROPEAN PROJECTS

The i4Q Project

i4Q – Industrial Data Services for Quality Control in Smart Manufacturing (Grant agreement # 958205)

i4Q (Industrial Data Services for Quality Control in Smart Manufacturing) is a Horizon 2020 project that aims to assist manufacturing enterprises (small, medium, or micro) with moving towards Industry 4.0 while overcoming the hurdles preventing them to do so.

i4Q provides IoT-based Reliable Industrial Data Services (RIDS), a complete suite consisting of 22 i4Q Solutions (17 software tools and 5 guidelines), able to manage the huge amount of industrial data coming from cheap cost-effective, smart, and small size interconnected factory devices for supporting manufacturing online monitoring and control. In this manner, it aims to improve the quality of manufactured products with zero-defect manufacturing and to create smart, fully digitized factories.

The Integradde Project

Intelligent data-driven pipeline for the manufacturing of certified metal parts through Direct Energy Deposition process

The major goal of INTEGRADDE is to develop a novel end-to-end solution capable of demonstrating the potential of Directed Energy Deposition (DED) processes for the manufacturing of certified large metal components in strategic metalworking sectors.

The DIMOFAC Project

Digital Intelligent MOdular FACtories

The manufacturing paradigm has shifted from an era of mass-production to an era of mass-customisation. Factories have to produce at the same pace differentiated products in order to meet customer expectations. DIMOFAC project aims at enabling European factories to build more responsive production lines.

The I4MS Project

The EU initiative to digitalise the manufacturing industry

ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs (I4MS) promoted by the European Commission to expand the digital innovation of manufacturing SMEs in Europe. As an SME or a mid-cap you can apply for technological and financial support to experiment with different technologies and services to improve the innovation skills of your staff and the technologies and services your company provides.

I4MS is one of the key initiatives of the European Commission to shape the pan-European network of Digital Innovation Hubs

The Level-Up Project

Protocols and Strategies for extending the useful life of major capital investments and Large Industrial Equipment.

The aim of LEVEL-UP is to offer a scalable platform covering the overall lifecycle, ranging from the digital twins setup, modernisation actions to diagnose and predict the operation of physical assets, to the refurbishment and remanufacturing activities towards end of life.

CLUSTERING INITIATIVES

The European Union is laying the path for the next industrial revolution. Today, this trend towards digital democratisation in the manufacturing sector is widely known as ´Industry 4.0´. The materialisation of this new reality requires the mobilisation and coordination of the entire industry. Joining forces towards this goal INTEGRADDE, DIMOFAC, LEVEL-UP, PENELOPE and I4MShave come together to develop a space for discussion.

These major H2020 European Projects in Industry 4.0 are launching a webinar series on key issues that currently shake the Additive Manufacturing sector. With a new and enjoyable format designed to engage, showcase and debate on the central points affecting the core of the industry, while remaining easy and accessible to anyone.
