The Supportive Partners Program by PeneloPe aims to establish a collaborative network among stakeholders in EU industrial associations, clusters, DIHs, and other projects. The program seeks partners interested in enhancing the visibility, reach, and success of PeneloPe, a project focused on advancing large-scale manufacturing in Europe. Supportive Partners contribute to cross-dissemination activities, increasing the project’s impact and outreach while ensuring sustainability. In return, PeneloPe offers partners training, visibility, networking opportunities, resources, and cross-dissemination support. Supportive Partners are expected to contribute by promoting PeneloPe’s benefits, engaging in cross-dissemination activities, actively collaborating on training programs, and identifying manufacturing companies for insitu training. Interested parties can register to become a Supportive Partner and be part of the European Large-Scale Manufacturing community.

IDEKO is a research centre that specialises in industrial production and manufacturing technologies, and they are integrated into the BRTA, Basque Research & Technology Alliance, an agreement between 16 technology centres and cooperative research centres belonging to the Basque Network of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Basque Government, the Councils of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa and the SPRI Group.
Their activity covers the identification and analysis of opportunities, the design and development of products, business lines and production processes and the resolution of problems through the provision of technological services such as technical consultancy and equipment based services.

Wind turbines are already part of everyday European life and are an essential element of the strategy to meet the Green Deal targets. Wind turbine blade (WTB) size is steadily increasing with the largest new offshore blades >100 m in length. Composite blades are manufactured using resin infusion and coating processes. Even using modern manufacturing methods, these are subject to defects which result in re-work, scrap and repair.
TURBO will reduce defect formation through better process simulation, monitoring and control, improving defect identification with new methods of non-destructive testing (NDT) and introduce novel repair strategies in composites and coatings.

Mari4_YARD is an EU funded project that leverages the potential of Internet of Things (IoT), mobile and ubiquitous ICT tools, and robotics to develop user-centric solutions for flexible and modular manufacturing and thus implement a novel connectes shipyard. The projects has started in December 2020 and will last until 2024.
Mari4_YARD aims to implement a portfolio of worker-centric solutions, by relying on novel collaborative robotics and abiquitous portable solutions, enabling modular, flexible, reconfigurable and usable solutions targeting the execution of key labor-intensive tasks by preserving industry-specific workers’ knowledge, skills and biomechanics health status. It adopts a twofold strategy: technology-driven and barrier-driven.

This will be achieved by leveraging innovative technologies such as Big Data, MBSE, PLM, MES, Discrete Simulation, Advanced Operations Research, AI, IIoT, Digital Twin, Virtual and Augmented Reality, and Smart Learning, through a holistic approach will enable the interconnection and integration of people, machines, data, products, and processes in a digital environment.

ADMA TranS4MErs is re-energising the European Advanced Manufacturing (ADMA) Support Centre project’s efforts to help SMEs’ transformation towards next-generation factories. The programme builds and delivers assistance with digital competencies and training in digital technologies in SMEs. At the heart of the network, the ADMA TranS4MErs xChange Platform allows SMEs, experts, and service providers to connect and gives access to a wide range of fast, flexible, and highly specialised training and services. Certified TranS4MErs act as trusted brokers between SMEs and service providers, while our quality Mark guarantees the excellence of the tools and guidance offered.
The i4Q Project
i4Q – Industrial Data Services for Quality Control in Smart Manufacturing (Grant agreement # 958205)
i4Q (Industrial Data Services for Quality Control in Smart Manufacturing) is a Horizon 2020 project that aims to assist manufacturing enterprises (small, medium, or micro) with moving towards Industry 4.0 while overcoming the hurdles preventing them to do so.
i4Q provides IoT-based Reliable Industrial Data Services (RIDS), a complete suite consisting of 22 i4Q Solutions (17 software tools and 5 guidelines), able to manage the huge amount of industrial data coming from cheap cost-effective, smart, and small size interconnected factory devices for supporting manufacturing online monitoring and control. In this manner, it aims to improve the quality of manufactured products with zero-defect manufacturing and to create smart, fully digitized factories.
